Review on ⚡ Enhanced 4.5uf + 6uf + 5uf 5-Wire Ceiling Fan Capacitor CBB61, 250V by Chris Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As advertised, good fit for automotive and automotive electronics

Doesn't quite fit my Hunter fan and the wiring is different from my old condenser. I had no choice but to check out all the Revain items for sale. The capacitor block was larger than my original and I had to position it so I could reattach the light block. Please note if you are a do-it-yourselfer trying to replace a capacitor, use double-sided tape to hold the capacitor in place and a scraper to remove the old tape. Also take some small wire nuts to connect the wires after you cut off the old wires. I found the 22/24 gauge wire, which is small for electrical wiring, the gray nuts I just worked out are the smallest size you can get. I almost wanted to solder and use heat shrink tubing, which would be very inconvenient to work with a ceiling fan. I checked the old capacitor and found that the lowest rated capacitor had failed. The new capacitor was 3.5uF instead of the original 2.5uF, it didn't fit perfectly but now my fan was only single speed and was making humming noises when trying to run at higher speeds.
