Fill it to the brim.

A bit small at 2 pounds. I like to seal the coffee after opening the package. A lot of pockets don't close well with a piece of tape and none of them have a zipper so it wasn't difficult. It does trap some air in the container, especially when the level goes down, but I'm still happier than not isolating my bean from the other elements. You can also check out the one where the lid always hits the beans, or just keep it to the brim. Regardless, it's a solid choice and I highly recommend it.
