It's not that bad for a remote control. It works exactly as they claim it does. I like the dedicated Windows keys and they work remotely, which is helpful. However, I would say DO NOT BUY THIS REMOTE. Here is a list of reasons why: (1) In order to activate the flying mouse function, you need to press a special key. I don't really have a problem with this, other than every other similar remote I've used doesn't have such a button. I find it cumbersome. (2) You can easily program your TV or other device. I programmed the volume up and down buttons on the TV to be the same buttons on the remote control. However, there is no MUTE button! Besides the fly mouse function, MUTE is what I need all the time. I was forced to program another button for MUTE. However, for MUTE to work, I have to press the TV button and then my programmed MUTE button (which doesn't say "mute"). Very bulky. (3) IMO, the form factor of this remote control is terrible. It's a lot narrower than other remotes I've used and it's difficult to hold and press the buttons with one hand. (4) The buttons on the remote control are very shallow, making it difficult to feel and understand what's what with your finger. Other remotes have fairly large buttons and/or have a slight protrusion on the button surface so you can tell which button you're pressing without looking. I have trouble using this remote control in the dark. (5) This remote is TOO EXPENSIVE compared to other remotes on Revain. For example, I find the Rii MX3 remote much easier to use and performs all the most commonly used functions better than this remote. Note that the Rii MX3 is only $10.99 at Revain. This Pepper Jobs remote (I have no idea why she calls it that) costs a whopping $25! SAVE your money and get the Rii MX3 with 40% off this item! DISCLAIMER I receive no compensation from any of these sellers. However, I have used and own about 6-7 remotes and I like the Rii MX3 the most.
