Review on Transcend TS RDF5R SDHC MicroSDHC Reader by Robert Weeks

Overall great adapter. I haven't used Transcend products before but I know them to be a good company for storage products like RAM. Not much to say about the build quality here as it looks like somewhat flimsy plastic, but with proper care this shouldn't be an issue. I haven't specifically tested the speed of this device, but it transfers data from my camera noticeably faster. memory cards as an equivalent USB 2 adapter. At this point, you really shouldn't buy any USB 2.0 products with the coming proliferation of USB C and of course only the improvement of USB 3.0. The reader accommodates standard SD cards as well as MicroSD, but I should mention that MicroSD cards are inserted in the opposite way to SD cards. So if you look at the top of the device, MicroSD cards are inserted upside down. because they get lost, for the price this is a simple adapter/reader to recommend.
