Clearly non-surgical steel (photo). I am severely allergic to any metal other than surgical metal. Despite this, I have never vomited my nose in the 18 years that I have worn them. Now I think I'll start over. Having not resized in ten years, I do not have any smaller sizes to put in until my ears have healed. I used to wear wooden plugs without any problems. Before that he wore "cheap" metal tunnels (similar to this one) for 3 years - bought from seller "Casworth" on aliexpress. They are my absolute favourites. I have a young daughter who is constantly sticking her pinky fingers in my tunnels and tugging so I didn't have time to wait for long delivery times with Ali. I had previously bought wooden corks knowing I would have the least of problems with them. No problem, except for the ones she just shoved out of my ears and straight into my mouth (choking hazard). So I decided I needed reliable plugs that screwed in. That led me to these. I figured it would be better to spend a little more money on Revain (with Prime) rather than waiting months for Aliexpress to ship. I definitely made a mistake there and regret the purchase. 2 stars (instead of 1) because they are cute, heavy and solid. But I have no idea what kind of metal it is. Although they are clearly not hypoallergenic. Look for Casvort. Never had a problem with their jewelry and they are cheap. I will never risk buying Revain metal body jewelry again.
