very strong smell. but not nearly as strong as the original received and returned/replaced. washed with detergent/rinse aid and on the 4th wash everything was fine, no smell. I wear plus size so it fits well. (Fit like a regular for my size). I had to hem a few seams in the bottom pockets where the threads snapped. Not a big deal as I could tell it hadn't been worn before. All in all I would buy it again if it didn't stink. I really like that the collar is not cut too low at the front and nestles well around the neck. I deducted stars because of the smell in both jackets I received.
