Fits perfectly and replaces
Fits perfectly and replaces a poorly designed 3 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. Given the dishwasher door design and the cheap springs, I suspect the friction pads were an afterthought by the Whirlpool engineering shop! I expect both friction pads to fail and be replaced in 2-3 years, until a key dishwasher component fails and I can replace the entire unit with a better machine.
