I purchased this repair kit based on reviews and confidence in my DIY skills. i have the skills However, I'm in my 40's now and readers aren't helping me see what the heck I'm doing! Great tip from a techie that I should have heeded before trying this: watch some YouTube videos. how to make repairs at all; Then take it to an Apple repair technician. My review is not based on the product itself but on a realistic approach that I should have checked. I could potentially do this with a lighted magnifying glass attached to my readers. Although I was careful to keep the screws in order, a few of them popped out over my shoulder in my tedious attempts to properly line them up in their respective holes. This is not a difficult project. Just a delicate and super small project. It is not so easy to remove a broken part and attach a new one. Didn't think of removing parts from the old part to attach to the new part before attaching the new part to the phone. This is the part that gets complicated. Due to three lost screws I'm taking the disassembled mess to a place that knows what it's doing. Young eyes should have no problem trying this out at home.
