My girls have worn these water shoes to the beach and also to the water park and they have protected their feet perfectly. They felt comfortable and stayed on their feet all the time, even on the many water slides. The inserts crumpled up after a few hours of wear, but we just took them off and threw them away. The shoes are still functional without them, so that wasn't a problem. I've thrown them in the washing machine after use and let them air dry and they still look brand new. I am happy with this purchase and will be ordering more as they outgrow these.
