Better than the ones that come with the tags

They are better than the ones that come with the tags because they have 2 sets of holes that you can use. Because of this, they are compatible with old and new trailers. I have an old lift and a new lift. The mounting difference in the old one comes off the bike at a 90 degree angle, which causes the tow spring to flex when going straight. The new one has a tube that drops at an angle to match the trailing spring. As a result, no torque is added to the spring when driving straight ahead. It looks like the old trailer will work on the new hitch, but the new trailer will not work on the old trailer hitch. The old tension bracket has a locking pin that is 90 degrees off-center. new mount so you can't mix and match followers and mounts. I find that both trailers go well with the new carrier design and have updated all my bikes to use the new carrier. The pin-latch design is also easier to lock and unlock.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
