Very durable and well made product. Mine arrived with no odd odor and has survived flint shards, ferrite rods and all manner of tinder without damage or breakage, while keeping everything dry on multiple hikes in the rain. If you're looking for an archaic but useful way of transporting small items, the job can easily be done, and there's a special spot for primitive camping if you want to be as authentic a caveman as possible.
