The cable looks strong and safe. The cable comes with a Velcro strap that makes it easy to roll up and secure when traveling. To protect the wires, this is the first USB-C cable with a metal braid. It's pretty well done. At first glance, it's not as flexible as those that have a rubber sleeve. After some time of use, I found that it's actually pretty flexible and easy to route cables around things on my desk. It has certain bending restrictions, but it can be rolled into 3 inch diameter circles. I need to roll it into a tiny and flat profile. It is completely tangle free making it ideal for this length. I especially appreciate the fact that it comes with a quality velcro strap for storage.
