Not sealed or waterproof

Pros: The backlight provides great viewing and is easy to read in bright light. They don't give off a warm glow and are clear. Cons: Wiring is flimsy and I had a wind break that needed repair. After removing them for the season, I found that most of the bathrooms had water and the interior lights were beginning to rust. Some of them hold up to 3 inches of water so I had to poke a hole in the bottom and flick the pipe until it was empty. I'm a little surprised they didn't pocket the water I dumped. I suspect they don't have the best quality control and are only for indoor or safe use.
