Review on 🐠 Aqueon QuietFlow 10 LED Pro Power Filter (Item #06080) by Carrie Hamilton

I bought this filter/pump because my old one died after 8 (or so) years and I wanted a model that was similar enough to use the same filters. I was surprised to see that it has an LED filter function (tells you when it's time to change the filter) but wasn't interested in the extra LED flashlight and batteries to worry about, so I never put that part in the car. . This filter/pump has a feature that allows it to start itself without having to manually add water to it (my old pump had to be topped up with water) which is nice but I think it causes the filter/ the pump runs a bit louder (I just noticed that it doesn't bother me). I see others claiming that their pumps failed after a month or two, I've only been using them for about a week so can't comment on that. Hopefully these dying pumps are the exception rather than the rule, but I'll be sure to come back and edit my review if anything like this happens.
