My son just got to a size 6 and the other pair of shoes we have for him, a size 7, is still a bit big, so I followed the recommendation and ordered a size 7. They were too small (almost 2 sizes) so returned for 8s. Size aside, these boots are great! "Like a dad," he says. These are authentic cowboy boots for my little guy. Leather upper and cuff, foam cuff and footboard, non-slip rubber outsole, what more could you ask for in a toddler boot at this price point? And the zipper inside is great for easy on and off, "I can do it myself", little cowpokes. For the price, I think it can't be beat. All the other toddler cowboy boots I found at similar prices looked cheap and flimsy. Throwing a bug on a plastic sleeve and calling it a boot doesn't mean it's a boot. Other toddler boots that "looked" like real adult cowboy boots cost more than twice as much, and the way they grow at this age it's not worth spending that much for 4 months of wear . Very happy with Smokey. Mountain Toddler Hopalong and will buy another pair when he outgrows them. Thanks for a great product at a great price.
