Review on City backpack POLAR П1956, black by Stanislaw Was ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Phenomenally durable backpack! I have been going with him constantly, if my memory serves me, since 2022, and he withstood all the tests that fell on him. I wore it all year round: in the city, traveling, hiking. I hammered it to the eyeballs, dragged a 15-kilogram dumbbell in it and plus a bunch of everything else - the zippers and straps went through and withstood everything. As for me, the only significant drawback of this backpack is the lack of a compartment for a laptop. There is a pocket on the back that will fit various magazines or A4 sheets, but my 15 inch Dell won't fit in there. And one more thing: hardly anyone in 2022 needs a hole to output headphones from a CD player. You can, of course, adapt it to the cord from an external battery, but it will look completely ridiculous. Manufacturers, it's time to remove this unnecessary feature. The fabric of the backpack is faded, but there is nothing supernatural about it. I don’t know how others wear this backpack, that their zippers break, but my relatives use it. Just if you have to carry large and heavy luggage, you should tighten the straps located above the bottle pockets. They will take on the main load and protect lightning from damage. Of course, after all these years, lightning sometimes diverges under the weight of the load, but, however, this happens quite rarely. Now, of course, it has lost its presentation a little, but it performs its functions 100%. Perhaps, now is the time to get myself a new backpack, and perhaps I will take it for myself.

Pros
  • Wear resistance, stylish design, reliability of fittings, quality of materials, ease of use, reasonable price.
Cons
  • No laptop compartment. It would be great to have a divider that divides the main compartment of the backpack into two parts to securely fix a laptop or books. In fact, some kind of Velcro fasteners, for example, would even fit. It would also not hurt to add at least minimal bottom protection in case of carrying fragile things or equipment like laptops, etc. As far as I understand, there is moisture-resistant impregnation, and it is pretty good, but, of course, moisture resistance is never enough. In principle, the fabric will withstand moderate rain, but a real downpour or sleet stuck to the top of the backpack can wet your belongings, so I advise you to be careful.
