Wax varnished wood parts
I paint, repair, varnish and wax discarded wood furniture. I use chalk paint and clear/dark wax to set the colour. This steel wool is ideal for polishing wax. This makes creating a nice, soft patina a lot easier than socks or rags. It has teeth to sink the wax into a porous painted surface without biting off the base paint. If you want a crisp, clean shine, synthetic steel wool is great.
