The first thing you notice about this fan are the blades. They are huge. When I installed them as intake fans, the only sound I could hear was a faint hum or hiss of air being forced through the case. I didn't hear any mechanical noise from the fans. I have since moved them to the back and top of my case as exhaust fans, where they run at lower speeds and the machine runs in a quiet home. The huge propeller blades on these fans allow them to move large amounts of air without moving very quickly, and the PWM support ensures you get the most out of them. These fans are so cool you'll hear a whistle or buzz. Air being sucked in or out of your system before you hear any mechanical noise coming from them. I will be using these fans on all my other silent builds and I highly recommend them.
