Following a couple of months of consistent usage of the headphones for the purpose for which they were designed, the maximum loudness of the right earpiece became less audible. When using headphones in the past, the sound coming out of the right and left earbuds was the same volume. However, in recent times, the sound coming out of the right earphone has become noticeably quieter than the sound coming out of the left. It is incredibly annoying when the majority of the playing content originates from the left earpiece, and the right earpiece has transformed into something resembling a plug in order to block out any outside noise that may be present. I noticed a similar decline after hearing an odd "click" in the right earpiece; although it's possible that it was caused by static electricity, I don't believe it to be the case given the case is constructed of plastic. As a result of this inconvenient circumstance, I am considering purchasing a new set of headphones, most likely of a different brand and model than the ones I already own. After giving the mesh on the right earpiece a thorough cleaning, the sound was able to return to its regular level, which had been the source of the problem with the volume of the right earpiece. If you have a problem that is similar to this one, you should first try removing the mesh from the earpiece and checking the sound volume; it is possible that the mesh is blocked.
