Doesn't absorb optimally in kitchen linen sets

These towels are a good size and I like the look of them. However, they are very thin and do not absorb well. I bought these to go to the bathroom and while they go well with the aesthetic I wanted to use them for towels and absorbent towels work best for this. I'll keep them to myself because they look good and we're reasonably priced, but calling them absorbent is misleading. They may be better suited to a kitchen than a bathroom.
