I used this to add some shine to some clear gem soaps to give them a 'princess' feel and was very happy with the results. A tiny piece of this powder has come a very long way. Be careful when opening! The powder is great when it's open. But at the top it is sealed with a paper seal glued very tightly with thin paper. My finger ran through the top paper, trying to tear it off, and the glittering powder shot up several feet into the air. Because it is a powder and not a strong glitter, it stayed in the air and wandered for some time. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere! (I even coughed up glitter!) But there was still plenty of glitter left in the jar to use.
