Riedel is a great brand that I have used for a long time. It compares well to other high quality wine glasses and they are expensive. This style has no lips and the glass is very thin. We have lousy water in the area so all of our wine glasses have to be hand washed because the dishwasher just makes them dirty. I've had great luck using the Ecloth brand polishing cloth on Revain to remove stains. I can put my fist in this jar to dry it well, but I have proven that great care must be taken not to break them during washing and drying. Any red wine goes with this glass, so I don't make any religion out of comparing a glass to a specific wine. It brings out the color of the Pinot Noir beautifully. Whether you are looking for a nice hostess or a Christmas present, a set of these will be appreciated by anyone who loves all things wine.
