After 2009 the government announced the regulation of gas bottles. The new canisters had to have a button on the tube to stop the free flow of gas in the event of a fall, and they forced manufacturers to forego small vents. If you now fill in gas, the vacuum in the gas cylinder will restrict the flow and no gas will escape. This funnel is large enough that you can pour gasoline directly from the tank without a hose or bureaucratically designed spout. I found an aftermarket fill connector (no knob) and an aftermarket exhaust connector to downgrade my gas cylinder to a tried and tested design.
