Review on πŸŽ’ AR500 Military Tactical Backpack - Enhanced Rucksack for Army and Outdoor Enthusiasts by Tyshawn Adams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very durable backpack - travel backpacks

We bought this bag for our son for a military training camp. They had to carry their backpacks through the forest for 5 days, including a day and a half of heavy rain. I can't say that the bag caught my eye in the open rain all the time. They were building shelters and the bag was in the shelter but got caught in the rain. Nothing got wet in the bag. As a good recruit would, always pack your stuff in a ziplock bag if you really want to keep them dry in a backpack. Only the outer pocket is lined with plastic to keep it dry. We got this bag because it had so many attachment points that we will need for future hikes as well. This is a military style bag, not a fancy glamorous backpack. It's durable and survived the training week, so it did its job and met the requirements. We will be getting 2 more as this is such a durable bag at an amazing price! By the way, we wanted to test the bag in practice before we write a review. The photo was taken when we picked up our son at the end of the training week.
