Disabling the flash from your camera is the quickest and cheapest way to give your shots the impact, drama and that "something" that sets them apart. This cable works great with your factory or aftermarket flash to get the job done cheaply and quickly. The build quality is good, the length is perfect and the cable feels very durable. It's securely attached at both ends and I haven't had a single issue with it not plugging in (which I've experienced with cheap external cables). The only thing I don't like about the cable is that the cable exits the front of the hot shoe adapter on the end of the camera, causing it to dangle in front of my lens at times. Of course, if it came out from behind it would drape in front of my eyepiece, so it's probably a blur. I paid $15 for it.
