Update: There was a bit of noise so we put it in a large Tupperware basket and put the lid on top. Calm! I do not hear anything. You can always cover with a blanket for extra insulation. Now everything is great. After adding the carrier, it slowed down to a trickle, removed a few sponges and still not the same. Nothing else was added. Will try again next time I change the water. Grrr I know what I did.
