Let me first say that these shorts are a godsend for plus size women with a curvy figure. I'm too old for booty shorts so they cover all the areas that should be hidden and not exposed. I like that they have a higher waistband that fits and doesn't sag. Most of the time, when I buy waist-hugging shorts, I have extra fabric that sags at the waist and I have to constantly pin it up or "pull up." Not these! They meet all requirements. I have to say that after a wash or two the tension thread on the waistband sticks up to the top of the band and I have to adjust it a bit when I come out of the dryer. This in no way constitutes a breach of contract and will not alter the fit or comfort of the shorts. For all the ladies with an athletic body that is always in my rearview mirror now, these shorts are also perfect for you if you prefer a high waist and slightly longer inseam. Very versatile, suitable for every figure. I now have three pairs as they are great for exercising, lounging and gardening (my personal favorite!). Have fun!
