Product installation took about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent figuring out exactly which existing holes were suitable for the installation. The instructions that came with the product are a bit vague due to the attached photos used in the instructions. I also had to move the sound tube mount. There are no instructions on how to perform this move. If you have a Mustang with a muffler (I have a 2013 GT), the molded rubber isolator needs to be turned over and cut in two to properly attach the muffler to the car's fender flange as instructed. It's not hard to do, but don't reuse the rubber support - NO-NO. The lift cylinders do a good job raising the hood. After opening the hood and raising it about 5-6 inches, the cylinders take over and open the hood all the way. I am happy with the cylinders and hope they last a long time!
