Review on AbcGoodefg Battery Holder Switch Leads by Brittany Rodriguez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible product on chargers

Really terrible product.1) After adding batteries the voltage at the ends of the leads [wires] was zero. Flipping the power switch and reinserting the batteries did nothing. Using a multimeter I found that the last contact on the positive side was really badly formed and didn't quite touch the battery even when the battery was fully installed. . Removing the plate holding the contacts, removing the contact and bending it, actually engaging the latch notches [they were flat when the contact was removed] and reinstalling the contact allowed it to make contact with the battery get. Then I get the correct 12V at the ends of the pins. I received two devices and BOTH were defective. I usually never waste time, but by the time I send them back and get new ones, I've lost as much time as I spent fixing these faulty units. [Rather than just returning them.] 2) The battery covers are also very thin. They are very difficult to remove and replant. The first time I tried to put one of the covers back on, one of the tabs holding it in place broke off. So yes they are cheap, they are poorly formed as you would expect but in my opinion they are a lot worse. what they should be, and there will almost certainly be serious problems. I tried contacting the seller to see if they would solve the problem at all. The only response was "return" rather than an apology or an offer to send a replacement or two for my troubles. TLDR version; very bad design. production and sale. If you buy them, be prepared to return/replace and/or troubleshoot multiple devices until they work.
