Review on Shark Navigator Powered Lift-Away Upright Vacuum NV586: Unleashing Unmatched Cleaning Power! by Ana Ramos

A heavy-duty vacuum cleaner isn't always a good thing.

OK - I tried to love this vacuum cleaner. This particular model has been recommended by Consumer Reports and has many advantages, most notably the suction power, which is so strong that you can best take care of pets and small children. He shakes his head like a hungry praying mantis (that's good). Plus it's purple! However, that amazing suction power is also a problem. I have a new thick carpet that is difficult for me to vacuum and thin, short carpets that this vacuum won't fit. I know, I know there's a lever to adjust the suction power. However, after several hours of vacuuming, I have found a combination of hardwood/carpet and min/max suction that works for me and my floor. (It works great on hardwood floors and does a great job with my 20-year-old worn carpet.) While my scale says this vacuum weighs only 14.2 pounds, it feels a lot heavier when you roll it back and forth . (Maybe it's the damn suction again?) The handle vibrates a lot, making my hand numb while cleaning. (I think I have a carpel tunnel, but my hand was not injured from using my former vacuum). dispose. (Did you know that the contents of your vacuum's dust container can be composted?) The hook that attaches the detachable nozzle to the main body of the vacuum is poorly constructed, and the flexible hose often breaks and bursts when the vacuum is on. To run. The seller has responded. When the first vacuum cleaner I bought arrived with a broken wheel, they replaced it and gave me a discount for my troubles. So here are my pros and cons. If you want to make vacuuming part of your workout, then this vacuum cleaner is for you. But if all you want is a clean floor/rug/rug without getting the physical Olivia Newton John style, then you might need a different machine. I will buy another.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • so far so good
