Review on Nanoskin AS 006 AutoScrub Grade Polisher by Justin Herman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Withstands 25-30 cars, better than clay, such a time saver!

As a detailer, this is probably the most time-saving device and product I use. I didn't know how long this would take until I bought a Nanoskin (AS-019) AutoScrub Fine Grade Sponge for small areas the mat couldn't reach (e.g. door handles, support pillars, trim). old and new seal. I have included some photos to show the slight differences. The new pad feels a bit stickier, although I could probably still get 2-3 cars off the old pad. I've always wondered how long the laying would take and I would say took about 25-30 cars and trucks before brake pads are "required" for replacement. I use Garry Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice as it's cheaper to dilute than most other lubes. Most people are unaware of the importance of sound. The surface is much smoother which makes applying polish/wax/sealer easier. If you have a DA buffer I would highly recommend this pad. I know some people say it leaves curls but I haven't noticed them. I don't think mid-range pads are necessary for most cars. Use lube and DO NOT apply to hot paint or in direct sunlight! It sticks to the car and leaves marks on the paintwork.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
