I love how pretty this chopping board is. It also lends itself well to serving, especially at this thickness. I also like that it's reversible (grooves on the edges on both sides, "compartments" on one side only. Was wrapped in plastic when I received it. I didn't like the initial chemical smell of the plastic when I received it unpacked but I washed it well and it's gone. The packaging says "Organic Bamboo Acacia Wood Cutting Board". The board can be seen in the product photos where it is darker. The handle is nice and seems solid to be.
