These little devices work as expected. I used one to step up the voltage from 12V (input to this device) to 20V (output to the motor driver). Under the load generated by the motor driver and the fan connected to the driver, the output voltage of this device dropped less than 1V at no load. The current through the device was about 0.6A under these conditions. I've only been using it for about a week, but so far it's working well. Update: I'm currently using six of these to step up the voltage from the 12V input (from the computer power supply) to the 22V output. Most of them have been working for about a month. No problems with any of them. These little guys seem to be very reliable.
