Simple but not durable

is a similar product. This is exactly what I need to hook up trailer lights to my Tundra. I didn't get a factory coupler, but the front-to-back wiring is already there. You just have to snap 2 connectors and that's it! Took me 30 minutes (I read and re-read the instructions to be sure). The only thing I should note is that my 2002 Tundra has the connector on the driver's side, not the passenger's side (as described in the manual). Addendum: Doesn't work anymore after a few years. I found out at the worst possible moment: in the middle of the course, at night. My son followed me down the highway and called to say the lights were flickering. I thought it was trailer wiring but when we hooked them up to another tractor they worked fine. When I finally got a chance to look at Kurt's wiring harness, everything looked normal from the outside, so I'm assuming there's something loose somewhere inside?

Pros
  • EASY TO INSTALL. No cutting! No splicing! This trailer wiring harness kit connects to your vehicle's existing factory wiring and features a standard 4-pin rear trailer wiring connector for connecting and towing a trailer.
