The bell clasp is a strong one piece ring so it won't fall apart or fall off and need to be ripped off if you lose it. The clunker is also of high quality and should not fall out. They appear to be of cast pewter and probably cast metal. Although not rusty, it still shines and rings. I hung the mine on the cotter pin of the rear axle using the split ring included in the kit, the clutch is missing. Good gimmick.
