Review on Ziploc Perfect Portions Freezer Bag - 75 Count: Optimal for Food Storage and Organization by Sherita Dixon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why did Ziploc stop making such a great and unique product?

They are great so I spent a small fortune to buy the last box of 75. expensive. Too bad Ziploc has been discontinued. I called their customer service and they said they weren't for sale so they stopped making them. I know their retailers listed it wrong and it got easily lost on the crowded grocery shelves with plastic bags. (There is now an overwhelming array of plastic bags to choose from. It's difficult.) Ziploc had to find a way to promote such a unique and necessary product. They were unrivaled at this, so if they could overcome the "full shelves" problem, they could have a hugely successful product. Why is he unique? The film it is made of is very slippery, so frozen food can be easily separated from it. He is strong but soft. When you put your "portion" in, there is no air left next to the food. This is crucial for long-term frozen storage with no frozen taste. The lack of a zipper is good because it allows you to make a tight puff. The texture of the plastic is better than any freezer roll I've ever used. The "pouch" format allows you to put your hand inside, take out a portion of food and seal the portion tightly. You then place multiple servings in a regular freezer bag for added protection. Your food will be stored for a long time without the smell of the freezer. I wish ziploc would let me write marketing literature for them before they decide to stop production. I see that the prices of the remaining stocks continue to rise. Unfortunately, this will be my last purchase.
