This sampler really makes the job easier. I wish they had instructions with them. I got most of the information about the operation from YouTube. The problem I had was how to set up the base, it wasn't that hard to figure out. The real problem I've found is that the bottom of the bottle gets blocked and it's difficult to move up and down the stem. Needs some lube. Also note that the lever (handle) MUST be pulled back a bit to allow the base to slide freely up or down with the lever remaining upright. This seems to prevent the base from moving. Sometimes a very simple instruction can make life easier. I would like them to include a page with all future shipments, it doesn't cost much. Otherwise it's a very strong sampler. I used a dry stopper and it went in with no problems. When you pull the handle, you will feel some resistance as the cork is being compressed a lot. Just keep going in one motion and he'll go right in.
