These little candles caught my eye because of the timer function. I love lighting tea candles for the holidays (starting with Halloween) and bought a dozen to try. I thought they looked so pretty so I bought a dozen more. Just so you know, yes, the battery will slowly drain over time with the timer function (I think it still gives off power very slowly because it's still in the "on" position). It states over 150 hours of use, first thing that worked was the timer function for 6 hours a day for about 3 weeks if that gives you a better idea. Some are still coming, so let's see how they behave. Buying decent replacement batteries costs a lot more than candles, so be aware!
