I bought two of these lights to create a spot of light in an alcove. They work great. Housings are made of solid aluminum. The white surface will cake and feel firm during installation. I installed 7.2W, 2700K, R30 LED bulbs (65W incandescent equivalent) in them and they are exactly what I wanted. However, I only give three stars because the installation was more difficult than expected: a. These bulbs don't really need detailed installation instructions, but the sheet that comes with the kit is particularly opaque.b. The brackets come with two long screws to attach them to the strap that you attach to the junction box. The 1" screws are too short to reach the junction box and the 2" screws have a lot of extra length to twist. The screws have heads that are too small, almost slipping through the slots in the base of the lights. They are fairly soft metal and the crosshead slots are easily deformed. You will need a long screwdriver (or very small hands) to reach and screw in the light fixture. Suggestion: Purchase two high quality #8 1½" pan head machine screws or use small washers on the screws.c . Also snip an inch or two of the sleeves that fit over the electrical wires so you can have a good grip on the wires while you tighten the nuts to connect to the power supply.
