This item works. I bought another product that was half the price but it didn't work. This is the only filter that will work with my spa next to the fridge/freezer. And these filters last about 2-3 months for me. Will be expensive to use. Maybe it's my plumbing, I don't know, I use Florida city water. But it clogs about every 3 months and I have to replace it. Update: I've found that the filter doesn't fit tight enough into the mount to solve this issue. Place a small piece of cardboard or a folded paper towel between the end of the filter and the door that closes it. Tighten the filter firmly. This causes many problems that people have with their filter, shock, poor performance, noise, leakage, etc. It must be firmly inserted into the housing. Check this by simply pressing on it while the water is running. Trust me, that's the problem.
