Pretty nice looking belt. This is not a single piece of leather, but two thin pieces sewn together to make them thicker. Not exactly what I wanted, but I'll try. This belt is quite stiff and requires a lot of break-in time. Overall it's nice to look at. I ordered the size recommended by the online sizing tool, but if I were to order a different belt today, I would order it about two sizes (4 inches) longer. My old belt also had side seams like this belt, but on my old belt it was purely ornamental and the leather was one thick piece. UPDATE: 4/1/2017 The strap is falling apart. Save your money and find something to keep for years to come. Very disappointed with it. The visible outer layer of skin is very thin, there is something like a strip of felt between the front and back layers of skin. The outer layer is torn and detaching from the belt hole where the buckle pin is inserted. Look for a solid one-piece belt, not this beautiful but poorly constructed belt.
