Using duct tape is a waste of time and a joke. First, the strips are too wide for the bottom edge, causing them to either stick out and touch the papers in the box, or hang down under the box. You don't need to cut the strips that come with the product. Second, about 30 minutes after I hung BLANK on the wall (I wanted to give it some time before adding extra weight), one of the filing boxes fell right off the wall. I thought it might not stick well to my walls due to the texture of the orange peel, but upon closer inspection the adhesive was still sticking to the wall. and box. The tape itself fell apart under the weight of the box. pathetic. After about 2 hours all three fell off the wall and had to be fixed with screws. I was very frustrated because I was hoping I wouldn't have to make any holes at all. On the plus side, I've been able to experience first hand that they are very good at not breaking when dropped. The durability is good! I'll leave the pits because I needed organization but I'm disappointed with the experience.
