it's not as soft as i thought

this is probably for older kids. My son is 2 and didn't like the rubber design. They don't actually have bristles. From the photos I thought the bristles looked soft but they are more like rubber brushes and not soft at all. I used it myself to understand why he didn't like it. The rubber version is also too coarse for me. I'll keep trying for a few more weeks and if he still doesn't like it I'll have to return it.
