This system is far superior to the foiling process. I could reuse a set of bandages at least three times. I keep my nails short and have no problem with the foil not covering the entire nail; However, I could see that you would have trouble getting the foil to touch the entire longer nail. I've had some issues with the wrap sticking to itself and not falling off, or having to wrap it so tightly to cover the entire nail that it started cutting off blood flow in my fingers. Soaking the pad completely in the remover sometimes interferes with the film's ability to stick to itself. This takes a little practice. I could do both hands at the same time, which I couldn't do with foil strips, but it also takes practice and I prefer to do it one at a time. When the pad wears out I can soak a piece of cotton swab and still keep the cotton in place with the wrap. I enthusiastically recommended this product.
