Good pump and motor. Apparently this is for a newer model, but the Bissell Little Green 1400 works quite simply. The pump is accessed by removing the four screws on either side of the upper case and the three screws holding the upper case together. The cables to the main switch can be separated to free up space to work. The pump is attached with two screws and hot glue. To loosen the motor, cut the zip tie holding the tube and remove the tube. Disconnect the three wires, remembering their position. Remove the screws and cut the hot glue to release the pump. The bottom panel of the vacuum can be removed by unscrewing the six screws from underneath. This provides easy access to reattach the lower feed tube. When you put the new pump in, the holes for the base will not line up, but you can drill out the plastic with a 1/16 bit and use the screws from the original pump. Finally, re-glue the device to secure with hot glue, reconnect and reassemble. Tools used: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver (for cutting hot glue), needle nose pliers, wire cutters, 1/16 inch drill bit, hot glue gun.
