Review on πŸ”§ Refurbished Garmin Vivoactive Black: Enhanced Performance and Value by David Pirlet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love electronics

in the background I am in my early 60s, swim 45 minutes a day and walk 3-5 miles a day. Being old school, I relied on my old Casio G Shock to measure walking speed, and with my finger-mounted thumb, I pressed a manual lap counter to count my swim laps Computer gizmos...gosh, for years I thought the app Store would be in the big mall next to us. I ordered a refurbished model through Amazon (I've done it with other things and have always been satisfied). I spent some of the money saved to get a 3 year 3 year extended warranty...what the heck $18...I know there are naysayers about the extended warranty but this is cheap reassurance for me. I've had a watch for a week now and I'm still amazed at all the cool things he does... I don't know how he does what he does but I'm happy with what he does since I I'm a guy I've barely watched the "quick start guide" work"... I just dove right into the features... against my better judgment I downloaded the full manual and it was worth it... there they are lots of good stuff in there...it reads my pool length perfectly and after 2 days I stopped wearing my "backup" hand counter on my finger...data on walk/run is really impressive I don't know enough about anything to do with bluetooth has to comment on these features...the watch face is perfectly legible in both the bright Florida sun and the dark confines of my home.I'm really impressed with the speedy GPS lock....update after 6 months.Of that i'm still impressed . He never fails to count laps in the pool. the area where I was jogging or walking. great product!
