Review on DROK Converter Regulator Adjustable Regulation by Johnnie Trimble
A very simple boost converter, but it works!
Not much to say, works and works well. The entrance security would be nice, but to complain for the money. As with all boost converters, a minimum load (typically around 5%) is required or the converter will go into intermittent mode, which can be acoustically loud and slightly annoying. I'm using this to start a small PC from a battery source and it seems to work, work well and be cool.
