Review on πŸ₯Ύ All-Weather Insulated Boys' Shoes and Boots with Weatherproof Closures by Dustin Keller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not made for northern winters

These boots look nice, but as a lifelong New Yorker from upstate New York, I realized that as soon as I opened them, my son would complain. Here's my assessment: The sole is stiff and smooth. Yes, he has caterpillars. No, the freezing point is not affected by this. In addition, the sole does not bend, the treads clog quickly, and the rubber freezes and becomes like hard plastic. The insole has almost no padding. No squeezing to hold your foot or conform to the shape of your foot. The lining is uncomfortable and incomplete. The stem resembles an outer throw pillow and is a fiberfill-filled nylon material. There is no insulating lining around the foot. Because they were so cheap I guess I got what I paid for and hoped my son wouldn't notice the poor quality. It was difficult to walk in and he kept slipping and his feet were cold. They have loads of positive feedback - maybe I'm not the right audience, or maybe other kids aren't so picky.

Pros
  • snow boots
Cons
  • boring packaging
