Review on DEEPCOOL GT BK Motherboard Supported by Robert Capers

A step away from greatness

First of all I want to say that I really like this cooler. Looks fantastic and cools well. I have it at 2600x and in Prime 95 it doesn't go past 70s. I wouldn't try to stay at 9900k, but for a lower TDP processor it's great. It's not huge either, which is a plus for me, at least. The included fan is decent at best. Not being a huge fan of the fan style, they would be much better off designing a ring fan and putting one in instead. It also didn't push much air, which is there. You know what he has to do. I would suggest replacing it with something better. And now comes the only major downside. ASSEMBLY. Installing it on the motherboard is as easy as peeling a pear, the problem lies in installing the fans. Those crappy metal mounting hooks need to go. It's an easy way to cut costs, but to be honest just make some plastic brackets that screw into the fan. This makes it incredibly easy to remove and reattach the fans. These cheap metal hooks were designed by someone who clearly hated humanity. People pay an extra $5 to get them right. So aside from my extreme hatred of metal clasps, this thing is a winner. They should make an arbg version with 4 tubes and plastic struts. If this were the case, it would be a product recommended by all review sites around the world. There's almost a deep chill, just one step closer to greatness.
