I bought an 8 ram flash drive to power my Tuf laptop. The reason for this is that some games (Watchdogs 2 in this case) need more RAM than 8GB to get the full 60 FPS. However, it was a bit difficult to enter the rate part. I put the RAM in the slot but my computer wouldn't boot at all. The color of the keyboard was red, so I felt a serious problem. I was worried it would damage the system, but I removed the RAM and the computer worked fine. So in this case I've decided to return it or try again at the risk of the computer. I was dying to upgrade though, so I gave it a third try and it ended up working quite well, with a whopping 16GB total in a $600 laptop. Be patient. Use external sources before attempting this yourself, remove the battery before installing RAM. If the battery isn't as easy to remove as it is on this laptop, make sure the computer is 100% dead by simply holding the power button for more than 10 seconds. All in all, the best upgrade for a $35 gaming laptop.
